GTA Weekend Wrap Up
Thanks to everyone who attended our community night and played with squidpunch, QforQ or myself, or stopped by the chat room. We all had a lot of fun dodging cars and bullets, some more successfully then others. Other then a few connections issues, I think it went pretty well, and it was good to meet some new people. If you have any other feedback for the event, you can let us know here.
Now onto the winners. First the T-shirt Drawings. We randomly chose 4 gamers out of everyone that joined us for the community night festivities. Each will be taking home a 360voice.com customized T-shirt. And the winners are...
1. Vector Scalar
2. Jackson The Pro
3. SFU Doom 101
4. DrMuffinStuffer
And finally, our big winner is Feoen who was randomly chosen out of all registered members of the site that played GTA4 this weekend to win a game of his choosing. If you are one of the winners, please contact us with your full mailing address and shirt size.
Thanks again for all those who participated, we look forward to doing more events like this.

ummm OK? I think I speak for most of us when I say, *We were not too impressed.* I think alot of us were led to think that our gameplay would had earned us some prizes. Not waiting around to learn we would be playing the shortest timed mode in the online, then to find out it was really for nothing. A badge that we *earn* only if we would join this website and reply to a blog. Then to learn that out of the thousands of participants, you could only fork out 4 T-shirts & 1 game. I personally know that the group I played with felt confused and somewhat cheated that something we all thought would be a epic warlike sessioned turned into a 4 minutes of cops n crooks. A mode that doesnt showcase much at all.

It was a good laugh. I will also never forget how Fatty Chubs managed to rocket launch me to death. Whilst we were on the same team.
Revenge will be swift and deadly. ;)

Thanks for the feedback Napalm, the community event wasn't really for the prizes, the main goal is to allow folks to play with others in the community and give us a chance to play with folks as well. The prizes and badges are just a bonus.
Everyone was supposed to be able to play for at least two decent length games or more, it sounds like you might have been effected by some of the hosting problems early on. I apologize for that, we did get a lot more people signed up for this then usual, so lesson learned there. Also yeah cops and crooks was a fun mode in our testing, but in our game sessions the play times were wildly different. So we ended up tweaking through the night.

I was hoping you would give out more shirts too but I had fun even though my match was quite short as well. [I was sneaky and got two of you guys on my friends list ha ha!]
Looking forward to the next community night...I was going for the contest winner badge...I'm jealous of everyone that has it!

Hey guys, I had fun for what it was worth. How does the "Plays Well With Others" badge work - I was in the chat room for multiple hours, but I didn't get the badge. Someone said we were supposed to post something in our blog in order to get it, but I never saw that mentioned...just wondering.
