I can't take it anymore...

A while back we proclaimed that we wouldn't be fixing anymore streaks... we did this because... well... most people have no problem keeping their streaks... but for some reason a segment of the population does... some people we fixed their streak two or three times... We thought putting a stake in the ground against streak resets would be less support, but it turned into more work as we had to crush the dreams of people and then explain over multiple emails that their dreams were remaining crushed...

So Ok, Ok, Ok, Ok... we will fix your streaks... jeez... the sob stories we are getting lately are enough to make you cry... So if you play... and you lose your streak unfairly... submit a support request and we will check it out... please don't abuse this... pretty please?

And if you lost a streak recently... we will investigate and repair that too... send requests (as always) to support@360voice.com.

And for the record, PSonic, MysticWeirdo, the dren, Croaker111, TotalSOLO, D0cman88, VVV WHUMEISTER, peters8570, PMW1718, Lord Kayne, Frostbite, AcidicWolverine, MANNYFR35H, David Creech, salazaar99, sh0cktrooper, dynyr, Spidey987, jcnet, tbon5 and everyone else on the streak leaderboard OWNS you all because they never seem to need streaks reset! :)

It's nice of you guys to start doing that again. Luckily, I doubt I'll ever need it thanks to Microblogging! I'm currently #46 with 392 days played on the leaderboard and I don't intend to drop anytime in the future.

(I would have been at #16, or 482 days played, but I didn't know that watching a movie doesn't count. Oh well, I'm not complaining. I lost it fair and square. I'll just have to make it up.)

Don't worry Changeagent, if I ever need my streek reset for god knows what reasons (since I haven't needed it thus far in over 400 days) I'll create some artificial sob story about how my imaginary wife said she would leave me if I didnt "be a man" and get my 400+ day streak re-instated.... but i'd make it a much more elaborate scenario with my general over the top flair!

Heh, me being one that had my streak reset I'd say like 3 times due to ISP problems, CA was kind enough to fix my problem.

I was OK with the ultimatum of no more fixes, we have MicroBlogs, it should NOT be a problem. I lost my streak when my ISP frakked my DSL, I had a bud help me out, but on the day that he could not, all I had to do was stand by and watch my 337 come to an end. But honestly, it was not honest. 3 streak resets, at least over 100 days of just logging a game w/o playing, I say it was not honest. So, I let go of the streak and promised I would not just turn on my Xbox 360 to log a day. If I don't play, I won't play.

But I would liek to take the chance to thank CA and the 36v team for their support in the past. It was much obliged. But after MicroBlogging was created, I say don't reset any more. It's not hard to put in a game, go to your PC and microblog about it. You guys have mentioned in the past multiple ways to save the streak, quit to dashboard, play more than 1 game and finally microblogging.

I had my technical problems, but fixed them with microblogging when I could. hen my DSL died, that was it. Nothing 36v can do to help out on THAT. Play games, microblog and don't bug the 36v team if you lost it and did nothing to save it. There are MANY options to keep streak. And if tehre is Live problems, 6v always gives us a free pass.

Check the forums, you will find some posts on my and Psonic's adventures in streaking. I hope I never have to ask for a reset, but you never know. I'm on the verge of picking up a second 360 to make things easier too. Wish I had the green to drop and get one of Ben Heckendorn's 360 laptops. Pipe dream. Maybe if I see my kids to the Gypsies I could get enough...

Wow, I'm mentioned on the front page as well :) My streak has survived a lot, but one time I got lucky and I'll admit it here.. The day the Bioshock demo was released (http://www.360voice.com/blog-view.asp?id=27958750) I was on vacation and couldn't get online.
