Tuesday night we had our most recent community night and a good number of folks joined Trapper and myself for several games of Big Team Battle Training in the Halo 3 Beta. I have to say it was one of the smoothest and fun community nights we have had. The Halo 3 party system is genious and we had a great group for some fun and light hearted games.
We got 8 games in, and we cycled in and out a good amount of 360voicers who registered for the event. The night started with a game of slayer, me and Trapper (ChangeAgent) were on different teams so I decided it was a good idea to put a price on his head. It turned into a running theme where folks would try to get the most kills on Trapper throughout the evening. BOB101910 (who got 3 kills on Trapper) and GuvmentCheese led our team to a victory.
The second game I got disconnected, which may of helped cause a loss for my team as The Third End and Wink were high scorers the dominated for Red. Rwgriersr also managed an impressive 8 kills on Trapper.
Several close games followed (3,4,5,6,7,8), even if the scores didn't reflect it in the end. The competion was fun and people were getting into the swing of things. Other lead killers of Trapper were; GuvmentCheese, shadow239, Croaker111, xCpt Kenpachix, Dark Lord White, and Mr Achievement.
It really was a fun night, one that makes me want to do community nights MUCH more often. Thanks for everyone that joined us, I hope you all make it out to the next one.
I think you guys should organise a community night a least once a month, I missed out on the last one and I would love to get involved. You could set a date that would be the same every month and play a different game each time that way everyone would know that if they miss one it wont be too long a wait for the next time, cheers lads and keep up the good work

We would love to, but they are a lot of work to coordinate... and Steve and I only really have Tuesdays open and we try to code on those nights... But yeah, we do need to do them more often.

would the VCE's not be able to help you guys out coordinating things, everyone keeps saying how much fun they are and Im sure if you asked for help you would get it.

You put a price on Trapper's head! That is so funny! I didn't even know... It was just a coincidence I ended up killing him...
I really did have a great time playing with everyonr though. Thanx for sharing your time with us again guys!
