Code Weekend, the aftermath
It has been a few days since Code Weekend II... I have to say that it feels lonely to work on the site by yourself again. :)
If you are waiting for an email response or something, we apologize in that we have been taking a bit of a break from all the work. Thinking, breathing, eating, and coughing up 360voice all weekend sort of took it out of us. Last night I fell asleep on the couch with a glass of wine in my hand at 8:00pm. I couldn't even stay awake to watch 24!!! And I have an episode of Battlestar Galactica in the queue unwatched! I know... shameful.
The wheels are spinning up again though. Tonight is suppose to be a code night, but that will probably be delayed until tomorrow... one more day of rest is in order I think. After that, we should have a chance to climb back on the horse, answer some emails, write some code, and re-enter the flow.
A special thanks to everyone who sent in all the great feedback from the code weekend. We are happy that you are noticing the speed increase. Anyone notice that the blogs are now appearing 2 hours faster as well? That is thanks to some Fatty Chubs genius. As stated, we made some good investments in performance this last week and it is really paying off! Also, keep sending in your feature requests... it helps keep us on the ball.
you guys continue to astound me.
now if I could just find some of this time you're talking about, maybe my damn 360 would stop whinning about me so much..it isn't my fault I have school, darnit!!
